This is a new pool for me (just purchased home with this existing pool). I will be ordering the TF-100 kit.

Using the kit I have inherited with this pool, the Acid Demand Test suggests 3 pints of Muratic acid for a 15,000 gallon pool.

🏊🏼‍♂️ Please advise. Thank you

What is the fc? The ph test is invalid at fc levels over 10ppm.
There’s no need to lower ph - any ph in the 7’s is fine.
There’s no harm in having highish ta.
As ph is managed ta will lower.
Attempting to actively lower ta is the last thing to worry about.
The only thing you should do is add 5ppm worth of liquid chlorine each day until the kit comes.
Use PoolMath to calculate amounts

Then do all the tests & post all the results here.

I’ve been actively adding 10% chlorine. FC is a little high because of that (5-10 range). I watched a video that stated that High Alkalinity would decrease chlorine rapidly or at a faster rate. Not true? Thank you for replying!
