I asked the question over the weekend about what to do with high alkalinity after adding control the ph. Then adding clairfier to clear the water up. (Never again!) I know that the best thing is to drain and refill. (Which I plan to do Sunday as the weather here is not the best right now with it snowing and cold, but Sunday seems to be the warmest of the days) Is it safe to go in the hot tub with the alkalinity at 170? My ph is 7.5 CH 150 and CYA is 30. The water is clear, but when I run the jets it does get a little foamy.
