So add more liquid chlorine?

Yes. During the SLAM Process it is critical to maintain the proper (elevated) FC level. In your case, based on the CYA of 30, your SLAM level is 12. The more consistent you are of maintaining that proper FC level and following all teh instructions on the SLAM Process page the better this process will go for you.
