Hi & question re slamming pool

Even with a cover, you still want the FC to match the corresponding CYA based on the Chlorine/CYA Chart. It just means that with a cover you should lose much less FC each day to direct sunlight. So always go back to that chart and make sure the FC and CYA match - in your case for a SWG-pool :)

Have you tried linking your photos from Photobucket? That's what many of us do here on TFP. Upload your pics to Photobucket (free), then copy & paste the IMG code for that pic from Photobucket to your TFP post. Works great.

Also, you can try going to the bottom of your quick reply post where it says “Go Advanced”, and then down to where it says “Manage Attachments”. It may let you upload them that way. They may show-up large because you can't adjust the size of the attachment, but it may work.

What an improvement and well done on staying the course!

The biggest killer of the blanket won't be chlorine -it will be the sun. The best thing you can do with your blanket is make sure you cover it over in the heat of the sun when it is off the pool with an opaque cover. The manufacturers of the blankets will recommend a very low chlorine level for use but they don't really take into account the FC/CYA levels recommended by TFP. In other words it will be the sun that will wreck the blanket before chlorine. Mine has just finished it's 4th summer and it is still in really good condition.

Sirrahn, that looks great! And say, now that you are using PB, next time you upload a pic there, go to that pic in PB, and off to the right you'll see 4 rows of code. Put your cursor over the "IMG" code and click once and it should say "Copied". Then come back here and paste it just like this:
