Hi, we live in south Texas and recently had saltwater Viking fiberglass pool installed this past December. This is our first pool. We are trying to learn everything about caring for it, so far so good. My husband is obsessed with keeping it perfect so he’s out there doing it often. We are enjoying our pool very much. TFP has helped us so much. We love reading in the different forums.

Nice to see someone from Rockport after Harvey a couple years ago. Nice pool. We are enjoying our Poseiden as well (link below in my sig). To keep it in good shape and water balanced, make sure to have a TF-100 on-hand at all times. A Taylor K-2006C will work as well, but I think the TF-100 is a better value. See Test Kits Compared.
Always use only TFP Recommended Pool Chemicals - Trouble Free Pool and follow our Recommended Levels - Trouble Free Pool page for details. Those, along with the TF-100, will help make your job much easier.
