What a wealth of knowledge! I have had a pool for 18 years now, and am still always learning. We got the pool when we moved to NC, because it is SO HOT here, we wanted something in our yard for the kids to swim in. (I am NOT a fan of public pools, never mind carting 3 kids to and from the public pool). Now it's the grandchildren that use the pool the most. 8 years old and 3 years old, and new for this year, the 11 month old
The pool is inground, vinyl liner, 16'x32', and 5 feet at the deepest point. We wanted a play pool, if that makes sense. The largest space possible for ball playing, vs a diving pool. We have never regretted that decision! I hope the picture works, because I don't know what to call the corner shapes on the pool. Our bulldog, Audrey Hepbull, is in most of my pictures, because she is my babygirl.
Our biggest water chemistry challenge is NO alkalinity. It is a big problem for my husband's tropical fish breeding, also. We go through a lot of baking soda.
I came here looking for test kit information, my kit is very old. I love all the information! I am looking forward to reading more.
