In the process of installing a new 12 x 28 Custom Fiberglass Pool in Carova (4x4 area), NC. I’m a first time pool owner and everything is a challenge when you live 10 miles off road. Pool is in the ground and piped where equipment room will be. I am hoping to get decking and equipment room slab poured next week. Concrete is $400 a yard out here and difficult to get delivered. Doing all of the work myself (except concrete). I have been surfing this site for a while, mostly for EasyTouch wiring ideas (that manual is hard to follow). I have a feeling I will be looking for some advice soon, so I decided to register.

Been a curiosity of mine for a bit . How do they get the pool and the heavy crane to move the pool out there? I feel like any of the large equipment rigs would sink in the sand on the way out.

I have found that wiring the Easytouch has been easy and pretty straight forward. The tough part has been programming the Pentair products. I'm pretty sure that children were involved heavily in their software design process.

They used a backhoe in town to switch trailers and used a Mack AWD trunk with air downed tires to pull down the beach at low tide. Then an excavator to unload trailer at house.
