We have a neighbor with a 30k gallon vinyl liner pool. She has been shocking once a week, using test strips, using PH up/down, TA up/down, and some type of chlorine granules I think. I just tested her water and these are the results …

I told her to quit using shock and get liquid chlorine. Pool store told her that it would damage her liner. I told it would be fine, just pour it out in the deep end. She is getting a new pump in a few days and hopefully a SWG as well someday. Should she add some muriatic acid to lower PH/TA then aerate to raise PH? Trying to help her out. I’m glad she brought me a water sample so I could get good results with my TF-100 kit. Thanks!
