Hello. I have an 18 foot round Intex pool with a salt water generator I am just starting up. I know I need bleach, salt, and stabilizer. How much of each so I need? Is there anything else I need to add up on start up? I believe the pool is like 7,600 gallons. TIA

Your signature says Oval -- is the pool Round or Oval?

Get 2 gallons of liquid chlorine (bleach) and 4 pounds of CYA Stabilizer.

What level of salt is needed for the SWCG? 200 pounds will get to just over 3000 ppm.

Use PoolMath for all these calculations.

Well, lets start with CYA and Liquid Chlorine... get that in there pronto.
Lets start with 70ppm of CYA...Per PoolMath that would be 71 ounces of granular CYA stabilzer in a sock hung over the edge in front of a return.
To match 70ppm of CYA for chlorine you need to aim for 6ppm of Free Chlorine (FC) so that's 58 ounces of 10% Liquid Chlorine.
That gets you started and safe while adding salt.
Keep the SWG OFF when you add salt, and for a day after.
Add however much salt as your device requires. I'm assuming this is a fresh fill so no salt currently in the water.
Use PoolMath to tell you how much salt you need to get X amount of ppm salt.
Then follow the guide here to let the device maintain your FC for you --> FC/CYA Levels

Any time you need INSTANT increase in FC use Liquid Chlorine rather than boosting up the SWG. SWGs work too slow to fix immediate problems.

I don't really get the pool math app

Ok, well...what don't you get? Do you use a phone or laptop/computer to sign in to TFP?? If laptop/computer the old classic web version of Pool Math is easier for me to play with.
You just have to remember to input your gallons at the top, and then go to the bottom and select pool type, how you normally chlorinate and whose advce you want to follow (pick Troublefreepool.com)

Then you can add your current test result in the first column and your desired level in the right side column.

See if that's easier for you?

Thanks I get how to add once I've tested, but I dont get how to know what to add initially when I fill the pool. If I just dump in 2 gallons of bleach and 5 bags of salt will that be good lol?

I told you above the exact amount of product to add.... you need stabilzer and FC immediately. Get that in, and you can add the salt any time after that. I didn't tell you how much salt to add because each SWG requires a different amount. If you look at the manual it will tell you to it runs on x amount in ppm salt. When you figure out how many ppm of salt it runs on, use the same PoolMath to tell you how many pounds to add.
Usually each bag is 40 pounds.
40 pounds of salt will put 629ppm of Salt in to a 7600 gallon pool.
