Help with start of algae after vacation

Cya is 20-30?? Always have trouble with that as it goes above the 30 mark and I can barely see the dot.
Pool is clear with algae starting on sides and bottom. I have now vacuumed and brushed. Question is how much ppm does 10% chlorine add? I have always used 6% and just want to make sure I add the correct amount to get to slam. And should I slam to 12ppm?

I was just meaning how many Ppm will 10% chlorine add per 10,000 gallon of water. Before I followed forum saying 6% added 6ppm to each 10,000.

1 gallon of 10% will add 10 ppm to a 10000 gallon pool.

The Taylor kit cannot measure 20 ppm CYA. I would assume 30 ppm CYA, SLAM level is 12 FC.

If you feel your CYA is below 30, add 10 ppm of CYA.
