Help with OMNI LOGIC

I don't know if i need to add salt. I recently reconfigured my OMNILOGIC to operate at a standard salt level. (I used to run it as a low salt system; but not really sure if that was optimal). My pool builder left me high and dry and did not explain this system to me at all! Could use any advice at this point? (**note: i am self-taught - read plenty of manuals and threads to learn how to get into my OMNI logic and configure the salt cell from low-salt which operates at 1200-1800ppm to standard operating mode 2700-3400ppm) **
Should i add salt to the water? Not sure what to do or how to optimally run this system yet. Thanks in advance

With an Aquarite system you can never trust the reported salt readings.

You must test the water for the actual salt level using a Taylor K-1766 salt test kit or Salt

You want the Aquarite average salt to be around 3000 ppm with amps below 7 and actual salt level to not be more then 4000 ppm.

tested today and salt is at 3200ppm. 3400 is acceptable high for the tcell 925 extended life according to my understanding. Shall I keep swg running at 20% I have a vsp running 24 hours/day. ? Thanks

Your T-9 cell running at 20% for 24 hours in your 20,000 gallon pool will give you 1.2ppm of chlorine.

That is low. The average outdoor uncovered pool in your area requires about 3PPM. That would require running your T-9 cell at 50% for 24 hours.

Is your pool covered?

Are you in Ontario California or Canada?

Was the 75423 liters of water?

Put your pool volume in gallons in your profile and say Ontario Canada.

Changed profile info. My pool isn’t covered , and I get sun all day . So running my chlorinator at 50% may give me an average 3ppm ; do I need to keep it at 50 for majority of time or lower the setting once desired chlorine levels are acceptable? Thanks in advance

I would think, you would get to the FC level that you want (big changes might require liquid chlorine), keep testing the FC and adjust the % as needed. Summer will require more FC production then the shoulder seasons. And you will probably disconnect the salt cell during winter up there.
