Help with installing a SJ 35

I have an approx 20k pool in Phoenix that I am putting a SJ 35 on, instructions say after the filter so it will be on the lower pipe in this pic.

I’m thinking of coming out sideways then up with the risers , any advice will be appreciated

This is from the older version's manual: "The Cell should be positioned 6” above the highest plumbing point (includes filter ports or height of heater, if present)?

Has it been updated for the new version?

Just be aware in the event it still holds true.
