Help! Wily leaves & debris are disobeying my manmade barrier and jumping into the pool

TFP Experts, see picture below:
We have a constant wind that blows from the driveway side into the pool side, and proceeds to take all of natures ground-dwelling life and dirt into the pool.
Any ideas on how to stop this?
I'd like it to look good but at this point I'm ready to throw hardware mesh at the bottom...the problem with that... the CEO won't approve.

Almost need like a screen mesh about a foot tall run along the bottom

How about a fine black screen? Either a black poly or painted aluminum.

look around, I saw one seller that listed multiple heights, example 1, 2, 3’ high

i have couple of the 4’ highs to provide privacy on our black chain link fence, one I cut in half to 2’ high, nothing penetrates it.

My leaf's are so bad in the late fall I actually thought about buying one of those huge fans Home depot sells and point it up and away from my pool
