Hello I am on here for the first time and don't know exactly what I'm doing but I definitely need to get help. I'm partially disabled and my mother's elderly and it's just us too trying to put up a new above ground pool. We have a gorgeous yard I think I have a pretty well even place to put it on grass which is really thick and nice what else do we need to do for the bottom of the pool and liners and everything.? I'm concerned that we can't do it just the two of us but it's I had step by step instructions from the beginning that are basically for Layman people like me lol, I'm sure I can understand it and I need what all is needed and the easiest way but the best way please.

You need to dig out all the grass into fresh undisturbed dirt and then use a thick tarp as a ground cloth, making sure there are no stones, rocks, or nutsedge weed left behind. You need to be within 3" of level everywhere which you can confirm by using a level on a long stiff wood plank.

As for putting it up, it's a workout. I'm reasonably in shape and its a full day of work to get my soft-sided pool setup. Lots of man-handling the parts. The smaller you go it gets way easier though, so keep that in mind. The labor is extremely simple and basic though so hiring someone and directing them on what to do is an option.

Also keep in mind that these pools usually have ladders which are rickety and a little dicey to use for those with mobility issues. You can work around it by buying stairs / building a deck.
