Help Upgrading filter on intex 12x30 metal frame, which one?

Hi all,

catridge pump isn’t cutting it and need to upgrade. Can I run a 14” sand filter on a 12x30 metal frame or too overkill? Want to upgrade pools once kids are a bit older but battling a neighbors tree it seems lol.

looking at the below: not sure if I need hose adapters either or if upgrade is even possible. If I can get a intex vacuum to work major plus! Using amazon vac daily with water hose.

Sand filters include 1.5 hoses

3-part B adapters for 1.25 to 1.5 hoses #
2 plunger valves #25010

mid robot vac doesn’t work they said use -#12486 but unsure of that piece lol
