Hello all ! I recently purchased my first home and of course I had to get one with an IGP. This pool has seen better days so we are remodeling it! However, I am so torn between colors of stonescapes. I want nothing that will look green! Our pool is pretty large and is 8 feet deep. I was very intrigued by tropics blue however some pics make the water look greenish in the shallow end. I've searched the Internet high and low for examples of the colors ive narrowed my choices to but I can't really get a good grasp on what they look like. I know it depends on many different factors but I'd love to see your pool pics! The colors im interested in seeing are: tropics blue, aqua white and aqua cool. Possibly also midnight blue but kinda scared that's too dark. Thank you all!!!! Have a good day :)

Tropics blue doesn't look Green at all unless you are near a bunch of trees. I was 99% sold on midnight blue but ended up choosing tropics blue and I love it..

I'm not at home but when I get there I'll snap some pics. We went with tropics blue, we too bought our first home with a pool and it needed to be completely redone. We went with a beautiful darker blue tile and the tropics. Now my wife n I wanted to go with the darker blue but some any people told us that it's VERY important to keep ur chemical levels Absolutely PERFECT with in the first 3 months or so. If they are not something happens to the color of it and it looks like junk. Being a new pool owner I thought I should stay away from that because I wasn't sure about my "chemical level" skills. I asked pool contractors n friends n family with the darker blue n they all said the same. If you don't keep the levels perfect and might/mostly likely will have to redo or acid wash it to try n make it look good. With all that said I Love our Tropics Blue. I'll post pics soon

I feel your pain! We are in the middle of the same exact debate!!!! I feel like I'm going crazy googling and looking through forum posts. Every single picture of the same exact color is different. Then when I read posts people will say contradicting things... One per will say that a color has a green tint.... Then another person will say that the same color has no green. (We are to avoid greens)

I have a modified version of tropics blue and we LOVE it. Like you I didn't want any green and I also read mix things like Amal has pointed out. A lot of it depends on the surroundings and landscaping, shading, etc. so what we did since I wanted a dark blue and my wife wanted a light blue. We had our plasterer make our tropoblue a shade darker by adding more black plaster to the mix . I also added a lot of beads and shells to mine which enhances the blue and sparkle
