Help please!?! I am new to having a pool and believe I added too much pH down. I downloaded the Clorox App and it told me to add 24oz to my pool. However, after I did this, I realized the recommended dose is per 10,000 gallons. My pool is barely a 1000 gallon above ground pool. What should I do now?

Welcome to the forum!
With that volume pool, the quickest thing to do is drain it and start over. If you cannot do that, you need a test kit to measure pH and TA and use soda ash to correct them. The pH is likely crashed as well as the TA.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

1 lb of baking soda should get you back to where you started.

I would add that and retest in an hour or so to see where you are.

Do you have a test kit?

What is the current result for TA (Total Alkalinity)?

Thank you so much! Your help is greatly appreciated☺️
I only have the test strips and it is showing pH and alkalinity as very low. I have already added the baking soda. I will test in an hour and if that doesn’t help, I’ll just start over.
Thank you again!!!
