Newbie here testing chlorine for first time with Taylor K2006 kit. How pink should the water turn to begin? Got slight tint to start....is that enough? Then after reagents turned it clear it would turn pink again after 10-15 seconds. So should water turn clear and stay clear for valid result? Thanks.

If using a 25ml sample two generous scoops of the powder will be enough to react to the chlorine. One scoop for 10ml test (which is what is recommended) If it's only turning a slight pink, your FC is likely very low.

Once it turns back clear after adding the 0871 drops, the test is over unless you're continuing with the CC test. If left to sit, the solution will turn back to a slight pink and is not relevant to the FC test at that point.
