Help swapping a Pentair Globrite

I have two Globrites that have failed (after only 4 years - yay!) and I'm trying to swap them out for similar pieces from Florida Sunseeker. I pulled one of them out of the niche and yanked on it a little bit - it didn't want to budge on its own. I had my wife feed it from the other side and that got it moving, but I'm concerned that once I pull it past the point where she can reach, it will just be stuck. I thought about taping the end to a fish tape, but I'm not sure that will provide enough to push it through. Any tips?

You have a pull cord secured to the end of the cord at the J Box, right?
No, just because I didn't think it would be so hard to pull through. I was planning to tape the end to a fiberglass fish tape for my next attempt so my wife could continue to push from the other side, but I wanted to see if anyone had any other tips before I did that.

You must have a pull cord secured to the end of the light cord so you can pull the new light back into the conduit.

You might need to work the cord back and forth some to get it moving. If it is stuck, you have a collapsed conduit or other issue. They do make cord lubricant.
