Hello everyone, thanks to this wonderful site I haven't posted here in a while (Life has been great)!

However, with the good comes the bad (potentially). I keep finding very small amounts of sand in the bottom of my Dolphin after multiple cleanings. It's not so much inside the containment filters, though. It has been this way from the beginning (3rd season), but I never really thought much of it and figured it was just normal dirt etc. Now, I'm starting to become concerned it's maybe coming from the filter or worse, a small leak somewhere in the plumbing. I do notice most of the dirt/sand accumulates across from my 2 returns. Should I be worried there is an issue here or is this just normal? The pool contractor indicated the filter sand is white, so I'm assuming it's not a bad lateral or pipe in the filter.

Thanks in advance,

Walt

If the sand is in front of a return, I'd believe it was the filter sand.

You could run pump one night and then clear pool with robot. Leave pump off second night and run robot again... See if there's a difference.
