I need to find a replacement cable for my pool's pump. There's a pretty solid chance that who ever wired this may have performed some splicing on cables/plugs. It's 15A/ 125V, and I think I can get away with just replacing the plug itself (the cable is 15 feet in length or so). The ground on the plug is flopping everywhere and likely explains my short. I just can't identify the TYPE of plug. It's not a standard pool cable that I can find at my pool store. They suggested I talk with an electrician. I'm looking at plug charts online and I can't find it. The horizontal prong looks manually twisted.
As you can see below, I've been trying to pull the screws out but they are very rusty. The top picture IS upside down, but just so that the amperage could be read.
Is this an unusual plug? Was this manually added over a traditional pool power plug? Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can get the filter running again.
