I have a new pool and in 6 weeks the travertine coping and travertine pool deck is cracking and disintegrating. I live in Texas. The pool owner and supplier came out and they don’t know what happened. We picked out tumbled travertine pavers at the pool showroom around the pool, but we got honed travertine. They want to replace the broken pieces, but I’m concerned this is a crappy travertine. What are your opinions and what do I do?

Tell them in writing you will give them one shot at replacing all the damaged Travertine. If you continue to have problems with the old or new stones you expect a complete redo.
