Help! New pool and plaster looks TERRIBLE!!

We just had our pool built last fall and the plaster turned out awful. Our pool builder ghosted us and I reallly want to get this plaster looking even, or at least better. We drained it and acid washed but that did not help at all.
Short of a replaster, is there anything I can do? Any info is appreciated.

It looks like mottling from too much calcium having been added.

You can try polishing the plaster with diamond pads...

Did you register your plaster with the appropriate company? Who acid washed it?? Was that what the plaster company told the builder to do? I would want a re-plaster job personally. Just my own opinion <shrug>

Did the plaster look like that as soon as it was done or did it discolor over the winter?

I would try a Jacks Magic stain ID kit, see if there is an off the shelf solution.
