Help Me Prevent Vinyl Liner Fading

Hello,
My vinyl liner is only about 2 years old, and appears to already be fading below the waterline. Question related to CYA/FC chart:
To prevent vinyl liner fading with non-salt water generator, Is it better to run 30 ppm CYA & 5 ppm FC, or 60 ppm CYA & 8 ppm FC? Or are those choices equivalent to prevent fading?

Fading is not from chlorine but from UV and quality of pigment in the liner.

My question was not what is causing the fading, it was which end of the FC/CYA continuum (on the chart you referenced) is best to prevent fading.

Also, if fading were from UV, fading would not be worse below the waterline.

It will not matter which level of FC and CYA you use. As long as you follow the FC/CYA Levels

pH is the true threat to liners. Chlorine levels have little effect on your liner. Excluding low quality blue pigments. They will fade quite quickly.
