Well gang, summer's over.
Tore the pool down today. I was thinking about trying to leave it up but I didn't feel like paying for a air pillow and cover, especially when the pool was 1.5" off level--I now have the chance to re-level in the spring.
I drained it to the creek in my backyard. Just started the flow using a transfer pump and then quickly moved the hose into the pool to siphon. Took around 10 hours or so. Then, this morning I sucked a bit more out and then dis-assembled.
Really struggled getting the horizontal bars apart, especially the first one, but once I developed a technique it went pretty quick.
Once I had just the liner left I dragged it down my hill which got the rest of the water out, folded it up, and I'm good to go for next year. It's wild seeing the dirt that was under the pool--looks like concrete almost.
