I have narrowed my heater selection down to the following two heaters.
1. 460775 Pentair MasterTemp 400K BTU Natural Gas Heater ASME
2. 009997 Ruud P-D406A-EN-C 399K BTU Natural Gas Heater Electronic
Are there some heater experts that can guide me as to which heater I should select and why? I will be incorporating this heater with an IntelliCenter automation system and so I will just be using the fireman's switch in the heater for on/off automation control. The Pentair heater is $380.00 more than the Rudd. The heater will only be used to extend my swim season since I reside in southern Arizona. The pool size (no spa), is nearly 12,000 gallons.
