Help me choose a pump for pool/spa combo please...

Hi there... I have a 30k pool/spa combo that has one pump which has failed. I need to replace the pump and was thinking of using a variable speed unit. My concern is that when I turn the spa on, I want the speed to be higher than when it is just being used for filtering. I do not want to do this manually. Can this be controlled thru aqualink if I purchase a jandy VS pump?

Also, can you help me pick a pump??? We currently have a hayward Super II Pump 2.0 HP. Any suggestions on a pump??? I'm thinking this one???

Can this be controlled thru aqualink if I purchase a jandy VS pump?

You need Rev O or higher in your Aqualink to have VS pump support.

You should get a 2.7HP pump if you have a spa and will power the spa jets.
