Help! Adding Intex Sand Pump to Polygroup Summer Waves Pool

You don't need to drain it completely, just below where you need to make the cut.

Here is the adapter that you need to buy:

Fernco 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/4 in. DWV Flexible PVC Coupling P1056-150/125 at The Home Depot -

Fernco 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/4 in. DWV Flexible PVC Coupling-P1056-150/125 - The Home Depot

Put one on each end of the hose. Works perfectly and cost $6 each.

I've got an intex pump coming this next week and this is exactly how I planned to connect it, super easy.
One question though, did you do anything to the summer waves pump in the bottom of the skimmer or just leave it as is?
