Hello Pool People! I jumped right in after lurking for a year without introducing myself. So rude. So apologies and thank you to everyone for the useful info! This site has been of great help as we navigated our first year of Poolness. We have a small above ground pool partially under the trees here in the south near the water. It has at times been a Midnight Raccoon Spa, a Nuclear Yellow Sludge (aided by raccoons), a swampy green Swimming Beetle and Mosquito Haven (abetted by raccoons), a Mystery Milk Cloud (a few raccoon visits) and a clear, calm oasis (post raccoons.) Hoping that the new testing kit can help me get a grip so we can stay one color for a whole week! Well, aside from green. Turns out keeping it green is easy
