Hello TFP!

I am in the second pool season of my relatively new home. Growing up, playing in the water was a lawn sprinkler or going to a friends pool occasionally. Last season, after the previous owner's company opened the pool I was completely overwhelmed with trying to figure out pool water chemistry. Most of it stemmed from the frustration of using the chlorox test trips and app that tells you what each level reads. The app never took the same readings twice and some were wildly different each time. We ended up paying for weekly service and ran an old Tiger Shark that came with the house to keep the bottom clear of debris.

This year after the company opened I was determined to be self sufficient and LUCKILY came across TFP, Pool School, and Pool Math!!! Wow what a treasure trove of data. The company didn't fully clear the pool of haze so I am a few days into a SLAM. K-2006C in hand with a whole load of chems, and few new tools, I have been beating back the algae.
