Hello everyone. Moved into a house last year that has a pool (my 1st pool). It was more of a nature preserve than a pool so we did a full reno (new plaster, coping, tile and equipment, with salt generagor). Pics of the reno'd pool below. The 1st month we used the pool last year (Reno finished in late August, early Sept.) we used chlorine tabs as they said you cannot add salt until new pasture cures for the end of last season and just started salt indocternation today.

Also does anyone have any advise to a newbie to pool maintenance?
