I'm Mike from Wexford, PA. I just moved in to a house with a 16-year-old, in-ground concrete pool with a vinyl liner. 18x36 ft, 21,232 gal
I've never owned a pool before. Didn't have one growing up either, so I'm completely new to this.
I live with my wife and two kids (ages 9 and 7). My kids love swimming, so the pool was a big draw when we found this house.
I hired a local company to open my pool and give me a bit of an orientation. I've spent a lot of time over the last month learning – testing my water, trying to get my levels just right.
I had two very enjoyable weekends of swimming so far. Unfortunately, I've now run into some trouble with my pump – which I've already posted about here. Hope I can get that sorted soon.
Anyway, looks like a great community here and I'm looking forward to being a part of it.
