Hello from Flower Mound, Texas.

I am a new resident of the lone star state, as well as a new pool owner. Things last fall went swimmingly, but since converting to salt water, this season has been a battle.

This website has been fantastic, I am taking the advice found here, and my test set will be arriving soon ! That will get me on the path with dealing with these brown dusty Circular deposits that have expanded to fill the imperfections in the side of my pool.


Thanks for making the site !! For n00bs, it's a place to get information that seems to be very hard to find.

north of dallas and having a pool is a must. we spent all afternoon and night out there. was in the pool all afternoon, then around 7, bbq'ed some shrimp, chicken and fish and had our little cookout followed by a nice dip in the hot tub.

that's living isn't it?
