After two years of paying a company to maintain our pool I decide that with the extra down time I would give it a go myself this year. 2 years ago we built a 70' x 20' pool with a 8.5' deep end, a 3.5' shallow end, and a solar deck. The pool stays full year round as we used plaster for our coating but we have an auto cover that we keep closed from October - Early May to keep the pool clean. We use a Clear Blue Ionizer to keep our pool mostly chemical free outside of startup and shutdown. Looking forward to picking some brains here going forward to make sure I'm maximizing our pool use.
