Was so excited to find this site. About to embark on an Owner Build / DIY combo on a major pool renovation. Looking forward to tapping into the wisdom of the members of this site!
Our pool is roughly 30,000 gallon kidney shaped pool built roughly 60 years ago by Town & Country pools. Sadly, the previous owners painted it about 20 years ago when it needed a plaster job. It has been downhill since with plumbing issues and peeling plaster now too bad to ignore.
