My wife and I just had a salt water pool put in. The plaster was poured Thursday and it was filled yesterday. The PB is coming back in a few days to put the chemicals in. We signed up for a first month service they provide where all we have to do is brush it a couple times a day and they take care of the rest.
We are also having an auto cover installed in a couple of weeks.
Yesterday we had our “pool school.” I am feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. But I guess we will figure it out. Glad to have found this site and will use it as a resource moving forward.

Rest assured with a little reading from the links above you'll feel much more comfortable soon. We also have various articles on pool opening and closing which will apply to you in a couple months, so spend some time to get familiar with those as well. Even if your installer does your first closing/opening, it's good to know what should be happening.
