I've been maintaining my pool since I purchased my home 4 years ago. Have not had too much trouble.. more with the equipment like valve gaskets. This summer has been hot and I had more issues with algae than normal and was using chlorine tablets mostly and found the discussions here on them raising CYA over time. So I got the test kit most recommended Taylor K-2006 and some strips for quick checks. I'm hoping to do a full test soon and get my numbers into the poolmath app. Happy to be here.. such a great resource for home pool owners!
