Hi all, very new here and first time poster but long time lurker. Finally dabbling in testing using the Taylor K2006 test kit. I cleaned the filter myself and have been educating myself on all the pool parts. Still a novice but hoping to learn more.

Welcome! Definitely lots to learn here. Have a read through the Pool School articles on the site, especially ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry if you haven’t already.

Thank you all! Everyone has already been a tremendous help. I posted in the Water Balancing and Treatment forum as the pool was cloudy and getting some fantastic feedback. Thanks so much for making it easier to maintain a pool. I was initially skeptical of doing it myself but after reading a lot and asking questions, I am definitely at the right place!
