This is our third summer with a pool, and we are finally cutting the cords on the over-priced chemicals at the local pool shop. I just spent about $60 on chemicals that suspect will last a good bit. The previous two summers I spent that (at least) weekly on various potions, many of which had the effect of making my pool cloudy—which I was told by the pool shop was normal, but if I wanted I could buy something else to make it clear up a bit quicker. I am looking forward to not making those expensive weekly trips this summer.
