I am originally from the Pacific NW where a pool was a luxury, not a necessity. I moved to Texas for 3 years in a rental, then spend a year in Missouri where I picked up a husband, and landed in South Alabama where a pool is a necessity for a yankee like me.
My husband doesn't swim, and isn't home much (OTR driver), and I run the office side of the trucking company now instead of driving the truck. I am a fish out of water, so he and my daughter and I put up a 16'32'52" above ground steel wall pool. (My very first pool and I am over the moon happy!)
He chose the Baquacil system because that is what he had with his previous pool, and I am left to learn how to care for this monstrosity by myself. To say it has been a struggle has been an understatement.
My grandkids and I have gotten many hours of wonerful memories out of this pool and hope to have many years of love, laughter, and adventure together in it. (I have even gotten my husband in it a few times alone with me!)
