Been reading up on water chemistry basics and finding very helpful threads all over this forum, what a helpful site!
I'm a new pool owner (well sort of, had my pool since mid last summer). Haven't had any major problems but definitely need to learn how to take care of it, as I'm already convinced the pool store guys are giving me bad advice.
I intend on using the BBB method (sorry if my acronym is outdated, I can't remember the new one).
I have this site saved, I've downloaded the app, and I already purchased the Pro test kit suggested here on this forum. This place will definitely be my go-to source for information and advice. And I'm a fairly technical guy, so I like understanding the chemistry and what different pool chemicals and products are used for. I think I'm going to enjoy this process!
