Heater Reader Yes or NO??

I'm looking for a reasonable way to remotely control a brand new setup ,especially the water heater. I came across this device and was wondering how many of you in TFP land have used this item and if it's worth the trouble and expense. If not what other alternatives could be suggested.

I'm not an expert, but there are plenty here. You're new here. There are experts also, but they need to know all about your pool and equipment plus what you're looking to buy, before they can begin to comment. Do you have any automation right now? I had never heard of "Heater Reader", but this looks to just be ultra basic automation that happens to have wifi connectivity.

Can you post some more details about your pool (you can do this in your signature, like mine). e.g. do you have a spa, water features, cleaner boost pump, etc?
