Heater noise with recording

Daughter's 1 year old heater makes an odd noise while heating.
Here noise here.
Any ideas what may be causing this sound?

Your flow is below the rating for the heater. Increase you pump output/flow/rpm.

What is the make and model #s of the pump and the heater?

WHy the noise? Harmful to heater?
I'll have to get that info (not my pool); Pump is a Jacuzzi variable speed and I believe a Raypak heater.
How to know how high a setting on the pump? They only have like 1-4 speed settings (grrr).

Raypak heater depends on the size....(this may or may not be YOUR manual...trying to explain...)


Raise the pump speed until the noise goes away.
