Heater question. Heater has kicked on and is working but temperature is not warm. Water returning to the pool feel the same. No temperature change on the thermostat as well. Opened up the heater (I’m not sure what to look for but pilot light was on) and it seemed like everything was in place. Only idea after researching is replacing the bypass service cartridge, anyone familiar with this situation?

Welcome to TFP.

What model heater are we discussing?

If the heater is running then the BTUs are going into the water.

What model pump do you have?

How many gallons in your pool?

Your 135,000 BTU heater will heat your 14,000 gallon pool by less then 1 degree per hour.

Be patient and your pool will heat over time.

If the heater is running then the BTUs are going into the water. Otherwise the heater would overheat and shutdown.

I would suggest you check your gas pressure with a manometer. If your gas pressure is low then your BTU output will be low.
