Heater goes over set temp

Hi y'all,

I have a Pentair system connected via ScreenLogic. The spa temp was set to 104, but the app showed 108 as the final temp, and I believe it was at that temp. Any thoughts on why the app would continue heating past the set point?

You believe that was the final temp or did you measure it with a cooking thermometer?

What did the temperature display on the heater say?

No on both counts. It felt hotter to me than 104. The sensor was replaced ~8 months ago. I'll try with a thermometer tonight and check the heater. Thanks for the insights.
