Hey All - I have a 20,000 gal, 30' Carvin above ground pool that I'm hoping we can extend the season on a bit more this year - this will be our first full summer with it.
We don't have a gas at our house, and I'm not sure I want to mess around with an industrial tank either, and the low cost/ maintenance of running a heat pump sounds good!
Does anyone have any experience in the midwest with using a heatpump to heat their pool? Can you warm the water up to 80 when the average temperatures are in the 60's - I'm thinking April/May here.
I'm currently thinking I should be looking at ~100,000 BTUs ... are there any brand I should lean towards... or stay far away from?
Thanks again - J
