Haze and “tea leaves” from solar tubing - how to clear?

We replastered, filled and started up our pool 10 days ago. The 15+ year old solar system is now shedding black rubber specks into the pool. The tubing is old and is becoming gooey/slimey.

The water has also gone hazy, which I think is from the tubing too. You can easily see the bottom of the pool, but the water has a definite haze to it.

I’ve shut the solar system down, and am
going to replace the solar tubes with new ones.

Any ideas to quickly clear up the water?

FC 5+
PH 7.4 (but keeps spiking to 8+ due to new plaster)
TA 100
Cal 175
Salt (None added yet)
CYA 30

Chlorine and filtering will help clear up the haze....keep an eye on the filter pressure. I would run the robot a lot to help pick up and black bits that are in the pool.

You may need to perform a SLAM process once the specks are gone. SLAM Process
