We installed our new variable speed pump in late October and several other components to the tune of $8,000. The pump failed in June and the pool company replaced (jul 3) the control board under warranty. Went out this morning (3 weeks later) and the pump is dead again with the same issue.
When the pool company did the replacement they recommended adding surge protection to the pump station components. We agreed and paid $1,100 to install three surge protectors for the house and pool components.
We have had so many issues with our new equipment. The brand new 400,000 btu heater we installed failed after about 20 uses.
Are these pool components (you can see what we purchased in my tag line) that temperamental? Is this normal? Also, we are in SW Atlanta region. Anyone have a pool maintenance guy they highly recommend?
Thanks so much
