Like most areas on the coast we had some flooding and my pump won't work. Pump is as high up as it can be for now. Pool builder built up as much as they could but we are on the Anclote river so not much you can do when we have as much storm surge as we do. I had someone come out to give me a repair quote and it was more than me buying a new pump and they wanted 800 more than I can buy a new pump myself. Going to buy the replacement on amazon and anytime the weather calls for storm surge like we saw I'll just disconnect and remove the pump to higher ground from now on. I have an all hayward setup with omnilogic. Once I physically install and wire the pump (just going to copy the same wiring that's currently used for the install) what else do I need to do to get this running properly with my pool and spa. Thanks for the help, I know I'm going down to a 1 year warranty but they won't cover water damage anyways so I figured why buy the instore model. This property has never flooded this bad before but who knows what the future holds, could be more often so cheaper is better than a warranty that doesn't help cover flood damage anyways. Thanks for the help guys, long time reader first time poster.

Just set the pump up for remote operation (its in the menu on the pump's control panel) and all the programming is in the OmniLogic, which shouldn't have changed.

Pool builder didn't hand tighten any of the 3 unions on the pump and used channel locks to tighten them all down so after running to the store to get a strap wrench and get them all undone the old one is unplumbed and I've opened up the new pumps control panel and set all the dip switches to off. I haven't started wiring the new one yet because it started raining and I'm not trying to get this brand new pumps control panel wet at all. So I just want to be sure I have all my ducks in a row before the morning to finish this up. So my situation with the pump kind of changed as I bought the w3sp3202vsp to replace the sp32900vsp that blew out from submersion during Helene. Just to be sure is there anything else I need to do besides copy the wiring that's already in place and then just turn the system back on and set the pump up for remote when it boots up? I was told the pumps are the same it's just that it's the online version. Thanks!

Same pump.
So I got the new pump plumbed and wired up like the old one and it's not working. Getting this error, "MSP_DEV_COMM_LOSS,Comm Loss Device:10011737e9 HUA:VSP"

Going to attach pictures of the wiring. fist two pics are of the old pump and the next two are the wiring up of the new pump. tried to edit the new device in but didn't see a way to do so in the omilogic as the numbers it gave for the VSP HUA didn't seem to be the old or new. Little help would be appreciated so I don't have to call someone out. The display on the new pump also doesn't come on. With the old pump the breaker would flip off each time I would tell it to prime and now it doesn't flip (new pump seems to have fixed the short) but doesn't seem to have power.

Problem solved, to make sure the pump wasn't bad I turned on dip 1 and 2 and reconnect the display. Checked to makes sure it would run manually and it did. Switched the dips back to off and reconnect the omnilogic. Had to quick edit the new pump under the spa and pool in the omni with the new HUA and it's all fine. Wish it was just plug and play but I guess not. All working again. Another storm on the way though lol
