Hayward Tristar 900 vs 950

Hi. I’ve read previous posts on the comparison, but can’t get a good feel for which pump. I’ve done the head calculations and the 1.85 HP is fine. I would consider the 2.7 if it is significantly more quiet because it may run at a lower speed (neighbors ). I am installing myself so the Pentair 90 day warranty is disqualifying for me. Opinions?

Correct. 2.7 will run slower and be quieter for the same flow.

Check the Hayward warranty, not Pentair.
